Gozo is a very special place. Largely unknown to
the outside world it has, nonetheless, attracted many
people through the ages. Folklore has it that Gozo is
the legendary island of Ogygia to which the nymph Calypso
lured Odysseus on his return from Troy. He was held captive
for seven years.
And the chances are, you will be captivated too. Once people
come here they tend to want to stay – as many settlers
bear witness. Click here or visit www.gozo.gov.mt for
more.

Welcome to “Tal Mans”Owned by an English family, this is a beautifully restored “house of character”, a perfect family hideaway, spacious enough for any family or group of up to ten. It is situated in the sleepy village of Sannat, in one of the old stone-built terraced streets leading from the centre.
Sannat is
a typical Gozitan village offering a unique blend of the ancient and modern.
This is an old property but it has been extended and modernised sensitively. It is very well-kept by its owners, with regular cleaning and general maintenance.

Close the door behind you and walk along sunlit natural stone corridors, around a central courtyard, past a ground floor bedroom to an open-plan sitting and dining room.
This is a spacious area with cable TV, with English programmes, DVD hi-fi and, even, broadband internet. It opens onto a walled courtyard with patio and pool.
The adjacent kitchen is fully equipped, to enable ease of preparation for any type of meal or party.
There is one twin-single bedroom on the ground floor.
A spiral staircase leads to the first floor where there are two further twin bedrooms and one double. Two of these open onto a balcony, overlooking the pool area.
All are very comfortably furnished with good quality bedding and ample cupboard space. In addition, every bedroom has an en suite bath or shower and the master a Jacuzzi.
The balcony upstairs catches the morning sun. It offers views of Sannat and beyond.
But for a panoramic view, continue up the staircase to the
roof, where should you choose, you could dine al fresco,
with great views of the island.
